Licenced Electrical Inspector

This is an exciting opportunity for a well-rounded licenced electrical inspector to join our Customer Connections and Request team.  Working in a supportive team environment, and located in an ideal inner city location, you will be responsible for facilitation of safe connection of customers to our network, keeping the communities we serve safe, along with the opportunity to be involved in projects augmenting our network.


This role is highly technical and undertakes various responsibilities in this space. This includes undertaking electrical inspections, connection and de-energisation, fault and electric shock investigations, providing technical advice and ensuring that scope of work is provided to our works dispatch team to deliver efficient and timely connection services to our customers.

Using your extensive knowledge of the LV Network, The Victorian Service Installation Rules, metrology, emerging technologies, your understanding of regulatory requirements and business drivers, you will play a pivotal role in this business critical team ensuring that consistent and quality service to our customers is maintained.


The successful candidate will have:


  • Solid experience in a similar role, including installation of wiring methods and experience in providing advice on metering and servicing activities as well as associated Acts, codes and regulations
  • Solid experience in investigation of electric shock incidents, network and  customer electrical faults
  • Astute customer service experience
  • A current Motor Vehicle Drivers Licence, a Licensed Electrical Installation worker and relevant Electrical Inspectors Licence
