About the role
We are currently seeking three Program Support Officers to join our Asset Inspection team. These roles are essential to ensuring our inspection program is delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Each role provides day-to-day coordination and system support across a range of program activities from preparing work orders and managing data in SAP, to coordinating permits and supporting access for field crews. You’ll work closely with Schedulers, Asset Inspectors, and other teams to ensure inspection work is planned, executed, and closed out accurately.
This is a key support position within a fast-paced operational environment, requiring strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a practical understanding of field operations.
These roles can be based at any of our depot locations, including Geelong, Bendigo, Shepparton, or other regional sites across our network.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the smooth delivery of our Asset Inspection Program by helping plan, track and close out inspection activities across the network
- Maintain accurate records and data to ensure our inspection program meets Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) compliance and reporting requirements
- Coordinate the preparation of work orders so field teams can access sites safely and efficiently
- Arrange and follow up permits, such as road/rail or environmental approvals to support inspection access
- Monitor inspection progress and flag issues like inaccessible sites or delayed inspections to keep work on track
- Identify and help resolve system or data issues to make sure information is complete and reliable
- Work closely with Schedulers, Asset Inspectors and other teams to share information and support day to day operations
- Contribute ideas and feedback to improve how we plan and manage inspections
- Assist with reporting, data clean-up and administrative tasks that keep the program moving and compliant
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess
- Relevant experience or qualifications in business administration, asset management support or utilities (desirable)
- Understanding of asset inspection processes, system workflows and compliance timeframes
- Familiarity with SAP
- Previous experience supporting technical or operational teams in a utility or regulated environment
- Experience working with large data sets and system interfaces
