About the role:
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our team on a 10 months, maximum term basis based at our Melbourne CBD head office. Working as part of a busy Talent Acquisition team, you will be managing recruitment for various business units and will be responsible for the full recruitment process from start to finish; sourcing talent, advertising, screening candidates, shortlisting, interviewing and managing the offer process. The Talent Acquisition team is essential in driving, supporting and delivering talent attraction and acquisition across our businesses, CitiPower, Powercor, United Energy and Beon Energy Solutions.
What you’ll deliver:
- Plan and implement talent acquisition strategy to match stakeholders’ requirements.
- Manage and coordinate recruitment activities including writing and designing job ads, sourcing, screening, interviewing (where required), reference checking and offer management.
- Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
- Deliver specialist coaching, training and advice to hiring managers on best practice/ best fit recruitment/ talent acquisition methodologies.
- Provide high-level customer service to hiring managers whilst gaining a deep understanding of the role and department requirement
- Facilitate pre-employment checks, including entitlement to work in Australia, references,
- Strong stakeholder relationship skills with the ability to influence and to introduce positive change based on technical skills and credibility.
- Ensure the integrity of recruitment/on boarding data with our recruitment management system (SuccessFactors).
To succeed in this role you’ll have:
- IT Systems including; ATS experience (ideally -Success Factors), external job boards, social media, SAP and Microsoft 365.
- Strong experience in LinkedIn Recruiter and other search platforms.
- A good knowledge of human resources practices gained though experience will ensure a broad perspective of issues is taken.
- Demonstrated experience in managing the full end to end recruitment process across a diverse range of roles.
- Making informed decisions to improve service delivery, processes and capability within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in supporting the development of highly customer-centric culture through values-based hiring.
- A proven record of adopting innovative sourcing methodologies, attracting both active and passive candidates.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels, to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and exercise sound judgement and problem-solving capabilities.
