About the Role:

 

We are looking for an experienced Systems Data Analyst to join our Project Controls team based at our Melbourne’s CBD head office on a full time and permanent basis. 

 

The Systems Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, validating, analysing and reporting quality-related and construction progress data across the full project lifecycle. The role will ensure the integrity, traceability and consistency of data within digital quality and construction reporting platforms, supporting project teams to make informed, data-driven decisions.

 

The insights provided by this role will directly influence quality performance, construction productivity, risk management, client reporting and continuous improvement across Beon’s portfolio of solar, BESS and infrastructure projects. You will also contribute to the standardisation and optimisation of digital tools, dashboards and reporting processes across the business.

 

What you’ll deliver:

 

  • Maintain accuracy, completeness and consistency of quality and construction data within platforms such as TrueContext/ProntoForms, Procore and other QMS tools
  • Establish new projects within digital systems, including structures, registers, templates and user permissions aligned to the Quality Management Plan
  • Conduct regular data validation, reconciliation and housekeeping activities to identify gaps or discrepancies and support corrective actions
  • Enhance digital forms, templates and workflows to meet project and client requirements
  • Provide evidence-based recommendations to improve QA/QC processes, inspection planning, defect close-out and construction sequencing
  • Extract and analyse quality and construction performance data to produce dashboards, progress reports and visualisations
  • Perform integrity checks and calculations to support key quality and construction KPIs used by Project Managers, Quality Leads and senior stakeholders
  • Assist with compiling audit evidence, handover documentation and client submissions, ensuring alignment with QMS and contractual requirements
  • Collaborate with project teams, site personnel and subcontractors to improve data capture and the timely completion of digital records
  • Provide training, support and guidance to promote consistent use of digital quality and construction reporting tools

 

To succeed in this role you’ll have:

 

  • Bachelor of Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics or a related technical/commercial degree
  • Strong foundation in data analysis methods and techniques
  • Ability to interpret complex quality and construction data, identify root causes and deliver clear insights
  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced), SQL and/or Python is highly desirable
  • Understanding of the Australian energy sector (preferred).
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Demonstrated experience working with data management and analysis in engineering, construction, quality or similar environments
  • Proven stakeholder management skills and the ability to engage cross-functional teams to drive data accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with high attention to detail.
