About the role:

 

The SAP Security & Compliance Lead is a pivotal role in ensuring the planning, coordination and management of the security of SAP and related environments within the Corporate Technology portfolio.

 

The role is a leadership role and will have responsibility for a small team, including 2 permanent team members and at time additional contract resources supporting minor enhancement and project work.


The primary focus is to ensure that the system is managed within the security guidelines, policy and standards as documented, including BAU activities, audit, license compliance, quality checks, minor enhancements, and projects.

 

Your expertise will ensure the SAP application portfolio is managed across both lifecycle and project activities for both on premise and cloud components. Critical to the role will be the coordination of activities to both ensure the stability and supportability of the platforms, while also driving the readiness for the Rise with SAP journey. A desire to drive to continuous improvement, increased automation and improvements in Identity Management is expected.

 

What you’ll deliver:

 

•    Manage the day to processes related to User Access Requests and Provisioning, Incidents and general support of a community of 5,000 users. 
•    Create, maintain, and prioritise the change function of planned and unplanned work to deliver change with minimal impacts. 
•    Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships at all levels within both IT and non-IT. 
•    Work closely with key client and partner groups to deliver on business outcomes. 
•    Contribute to the operational risk and assurance processes by attending and representing the Domain in relevant forums. 
•    Control the quality of the change and release phase for all SAP Security changes. 
•    Take responsibility for and lead a team of technology specialists and stakeholders (business, technology internal, external, etc) across both organisations to deliver business outcomes. 
•    Provide key operational inputs and make recommendations that inform capital investment, work scope and prioritisation to improve operational risk.

 

To succeed in the role, you’ll have: 

 

•    University degree or post graduate level qualifications in Business Administration or IT, and/or significant work experience.
•    ServiceNow certification, or equivalent experience. 
•    Demonstrated previous experience as an SAP Security & Compliance Lead. 
•    Ability to implement SAP Security concepts and strategies, including Role design, use of Profile generator, Authorisation Objects, and operational administration. 
•    Extensive experience in audit and compliance related to IT General Controls. 
•    Experience in managing with GRC, Firefighter and similar process controls. 
•    In-depth knowledge of security and administration concepts across BW, HANA, Solution Manager, Fiori, ERP, including HR Position based security.
