About the Role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Finance Analyst to join our Finance team in a full time and permanent role based at our Melbourne CBD head office.
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting strategic and operational decision-making through budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and value-added analysis. You will work closely with leaders across the business to identify risks and opportunities, improve financial outcomes, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, influencing business decisions, and delivering meaningful financial insights that drive performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to provide financial insights and support commercial decision-making
- Prepare, analyse and report monthly financial results, ensuring accuracy and meaningful variance analysis
- Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning activities
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and recommend actions to improve business performance
- Maintain accurate accounting records, including month-end accruals, adjustments and reporting in SAP
- Drive process improvements and enhance financial reporting, systems and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with Finance teams and business leaders to ensure effective financial management and compliance.

To succeed in this role you will have:
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
- CPA/CA qualified or currently working towards qualification
- Previous experience in management accounting, financial analysis or business reporting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting and financial reporting
- Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and attention-to-detail skills.
