  • Apply power flow simulation tools to model electrification impacts on demand, export levels, and thermal performance.
  • Conduct cost-benefit assessments to inform investment decisions and optimize network performance.
  • Design cost-effective investments to support sustainable electrification and network efficiency.
  • Develop innovative, non-network solutions for customer constraints and grid reliability.
  • Drive operational improvements using simulation insights to influence policy and engineering practices.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with AER methodologies, NER, and the Victorian Electricity Distribution Code of Practice.
  • Forecast voltage compliance in alignment with the Victorian Electricity Distribution Code of Practice.
  • Investigate simulation results using advanced data techniques to identify network constraints and electrification trends.
  • Lead comprehensive network studies for customer electrification and its impact on the grid.
  • Mentor team members, share modelling expertise, and support continuous improvement.
  • Perform power system simulations with tools like PSS® Sincal.

  • In-depth understanding of the technical impacts of Customer Energy Resources (Solar PV, EVs, batteries) on power quality.
  • Power Quality assessment skills, including harmonics, flicker, and voltage analysis (PSS® SINCAL experience is advantageous).
  • Qualifications in Business, Data Science, or Finance (highly regarded).
  • Proven electricity supply industry experience, demonstrating competence and autonomy in your work.
