These are exciting opportunities ideal for highly driven, team players as to be Connections Case Officers.

These roles are busy and varied, accountable for the service delivery to customers to ensure fulfilment of the end-to-end connections, energisation services and LNSP functions across all three Networks – Powercor, CitiPower and United Energy. 

Using your existing knowledge of service delivery in Australian Electricity, and systems knowledge relating to Connection Services, you will be accountable for the management and resolution of customer enquiries through multiple channels, and the resolution of complex exceptions that prevent completion of connection, energisation processes or LNSP functions.

Please note that these opportunities are employed on a casual basis through our Agency provider. You will receive an exceptional casual hourly rate for this of $50.36 plus superannuation.

  • Ensuring effective and efficient customer service resulting in customer connections being delivered on time and in accordance with regulatory expectations
  • Manage a wide range of customer enquiries, proactively keeping customers informed and all work completed contributes to meeting customer expectations and regulated timeframes
  • Commit to all tasks carried out being compliant with Regulatory process and practice, with safety always at forefront of mind


What you’ll bring with you: 

  • Demonstrated experience of advanced customer service delivery in high volume time critical environment, as well as intermediate computer skills, including but not limited to, Excel, SAP, CIS, CLICK 
  • Successful completion of VCE / Year 12 qualifications or Cert IV in Customer Services or demonstrated relevant working experience in a similar type of role
  • Working general knowledge of systems relating to Connection Services. For example, SAP-ISU, CISOV, GIS, MSATS, Salesforce, UIQ, MTS, IEE, etc as well as knowledge of connections and energisation process and policies
  • Transaction exception management and resolution processing experience, as well as Guaranteed Service Levels & targets or completing work to regulated timeframes
  • An understanding of market rules and regulation in Australian Electricity or Energy market
