About the Role:

We currently have two fixed term opportunities available in a 12-month and an 18-month capacity.  These positions are ideal opportunities for highly motivated, experienced and technical Asset Strategy Engineers to join our business, and manage the delivery of our performance and asset management services. 
To be successful in these roles, you will be driven and supported to ensure the safe, sustainable and efficient performance of CitiPower and Powercor’s network plant and stations assets, as well as create and implement asset management strategies, plans, maintenance policies and business improvement projects. A busy and highly skilled engineering role perfect for your next career move.
Undertaking critical work in this space you will also be responsible for prioritising tasks to ensure effective financial management associated with all asset management strategies.  You will strive to source and implement innovative solutions, as well as continuously adopting best practice asset management and project management skills.

About you: 

To succeed in this role you’ll have:

  • A Bachelor qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Working experience in the area of asset management
  • Experience in the area of electricity distribution with distribution and zone substation assets
  • A team player that strives on continuous improvement, communication and stakeholder management.

Please note that the successful candidate will be required to hold, or be capable of gaining (within a set period of time), registration with a Victorian Business Licensing Authority as a Professional Engineer in the field of Electrical Engineering
