About the role – what’s our Graduate Program about?
We are looking for curious minds across the fields of Electrical and Mechatronics Engineering to join us in February 2027 and ultimately help us shape the electricity network of the future.
Our award-winning graduate program enables our graduates to experience the varied engineering opportunities that exist across our business. You will be connected to industry leaders, contribute to innovative projects, and help transform our industry.
Over the three-year program you will undertake five specialised rotations, and have opportunities to attend graduate development events, developing wider business and industry knowledge as part of a truly immersive experience. Graduate rotations are available across key areas of our business, including Network Planning, Asset Management, Design, Operations, Commissioning and Project Management.
You will shape your own journey and be fully supported along the way by a mentor, a holistic graduate program, your managers and team leaders, and other graduates in our businesses.
We will work with you throughout the program to help you identify your preferred engineering career pathway. At the end of the program, you will join a team in a role that best matches your skills and career interests with business requirements and opportunities.

To be eligible to apply, you’ll need to:

- Graduate with an undergraduate or master’s degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering by the end of the 2026 academic year*
- Be prepared to commence full-time employment in February 2027 located within Melbourne
- Have the right to work in Australia (please note for international applicants we will need to ensure you secure/have secured a subclass 485 or 189 working visa)
- Have strong communication and analytical skills, enjoy working as part of a team, and are ready to kick start your career
- Be able to make your own way to our Melbourne CBD office to take part in an assessment and in person interview with us on 1 May 2026.
