About the Role:
We are currently looking for a Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Site Technician to join our Commissioning, Operations and Maintenance team in 24-month fixed term and full-time opportunity based on our Solar & Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects located in Quron Park (2870) and Jemalong (2871) in New South Wales.
As a O&M Site Technician, you’ll carry out day‑to‑day operations and maintenance activities across multiple solar farm sites. You’ll be responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance, fault response, and supporting the ongoing performance and availability of our assets.
Your work will directly contribute to maximising solar farm output while ensuring the safety, reliability, and operational excellence of our sites.
What you’ll deliver:
- Perform safe and efficient preventative and corrective maintenance across utility‑scale solar farms
- Lead fault‑finding, inspections, overhauls, and technical response activities to maximise asset performance
- Follow all operational and safety procedures, including issuing/cancelling operational documents
- Manage internal resources and contractors to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations
- Maintain accurate reporting on maintenance progress, spare‑parts usage, and site activity outcomes.
- Use Beon systems and processes effectively while supporting continuous improvement and strong stakeholder relationships.

To succeed in this role you’ll have:
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology – Electrician (or equivalent)
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- HV operator qualification (desirable) or willingness to obtain
- Understanding of solar farm operations and maintenance principles.
- Strong awareness of WHS obligations, safety systems, and procedures.
- Basic understanding of HV operating procedures and outage planning.
- Familiarity with IT systems such as SCADA, GIS, and monitoring platforms
- Hands-on experience operating and maintaining electrical equipment
- Experience managing internal resources and subcontractors.
