About the role
The Work Scheduler is responsible for scheduling and coordination of planned inspection of assets within their region and ensuring that each delivery package is commenced and delivered to expected standard.
The role is also responsible interfacing with internal and external stakeholders throughout the inspection and maintenance work cycles, and supporting inspectors in efficient mobilisation in order to meet operational requirements.
The successful candidate would need to have high organisation and planning skills, along with strong communication and a friendly disposition.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage work schedules and strategies to deliver inspection cycles.
- Monitor the progress of programs of work and ensure effective and efficient delivery.
- Ensure work instructions issued to the field workforce are accurate and conform to procedures.
- Liaise with customers and stakeholders, both internal and external, to arrange access for inspectors when assets are inaccessible.
- Act as the key point of contact to the asset inspectors and team leaders for support on delivery outcomes.
Key Criteria
- Previous experience in coordination of work program packages for field execution. Specific experience in scheduling electrical maintenance, inspection and construction advantageous.
- Construction industry white card, current first aid training certificate and chemical handling certificate.
- Good understanding of electrical distribution systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Understanding and ability to use SAP and Click.
- Diploma of ESI - Power Systems is advantageous.
