About the Role:

The Works Delivery Coordination Team Leader is responsible for the front-line management of the Works Delivery Coordination team in the provision of efficient and high-quality Works Delivery functions for the CitiPower / Powercor Networks. The role will report to the Works Program Delivery Manager and will be part of Powercor Network Services business unit. You will be a key member of the Works Program Delivery leadership team and is expected to assist and add value to strategic initiatives, process improvement and communication across the group and business.


The role will be on a 12-month fixed term contract. 


What you’ll deliver: 

•    Works Program Delivery - delivers works for field execution with Health and Safety and compliance as a number one value
•    Provide Leadership - provide leadership, support and direction to the group on all people and operational matters
•    Manage Resources - ability to manage and co-ordinate the day-to-day activities of a geographically dispersed Works Delivery team of technical resources efficiently and effectively
•    Stakeholder Management & Communication - negotiate with key stakeholders modified processes, systems, or project related outcomes
•    Innovation and Continuous Improvement - create and instil a workplace culture that is focused on workplace continuous improvement. 


About you: 

•    Strong experience in resource management and/or Project Management
•    Knowledge of Works Program Delivery and scheduling principles
•    Experience in construction, maintenance and technically related activities related to the electrical network
•    Managed and lead work groups through periods of change
•    Managed a technical and geographically dispersed workforce.

 

Education/Qualifications
•    Diploma qualification in ESI Power Systems or a relevant business or technical trade discipline and/ or;
•    Demonstrated equivalent experience in a similar role.
